Book Review: The Call of the Wild

This is a map of the Yukon Territory where the story takes place.
This is a picture of what Buck may have looked like.
This is the author, Jack London.

The Call of the Wild is a book written by Jack London. It is about a dog named Buck who is dognapped and taken to Alaska to pull sleds. While he is there he slowly becomes a wild dog and hunts with wolves. One of my favorite parts is when he hunts a moose. He tracks the moose until the moose wears out. This shows that Buck is becoming more wild. He meets a man on the way named John Thorton. He saves John Thorton a lot of times because he loves him as his master. One time, Buck pulled a 1,000 pound sled 100 yards to help John Thorton win a bet. In the end some Indians kill John Thorton and Buck becomes wild.
I sort of liked this book. I would give it a 7 out of 10.
